Families of military members based or stationed at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio are eligible to apply for assistance from our organization using the application below.
A referral from the military member’s family programs office is required.
Assistance is awarded to families who have needs in accordance with the mission of Rickenbacker Military Families.

Beginning January 1, 2016, ONGEA is offering a FREE one-year membership to any newly promoted E-5 in the Ohio National Guard. A code will be emailed to you that you can use to join ONGEA and EANGUS for free using our online membership system.

Our Military Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to provide support and recognition to military children. This may include children ages 3 years through the 12th grade of deployed National Guard and Reserve service members, along with children of Wounded and Fallen Warriors from all branches of service. The grants to children pay for fees associated with athletic, fine arts, and tutoring programs. Ohio Department of Education: The fees for any initial Ohio educator license, permit or certificate – or for a renewal – will be waived for candidates who are veterans with honorable discharges or current service members of all branches of the United States Armed Forces, including the National Guard or Reserves.
